DESCRIPTION AND INDICATION:

Description:
Florfenicol is a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic effective against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria isolated from domestic animals. Florfenicol acts by inhibiting protein synthesis at the ribosomal level and is bacteriostatic. However, bactericidal activity has been demonstrated in-vitro against Actinobacillus pleuropneumonia and Pasteurella multocida.
Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity against gram-positive and gram- negative bacteria, including Mycoplasma spp, Rickettsia spp. and Chlamydia spp.
Indications:
Treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections in poultry and swine caused by microorganisms susceptible to florfenicol such as Pasteurella multocida and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), shipping fever, rhinotracheitis and secondary bacterial infections during the course of viral disease, as well as Porcine Intestinal Adenomatosis (PIA-complex).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Mix with clean water or mix with food, use continuously for 3-5 days
Treatment:
– For chickens, ducks, geese, quails: 1ml/ 1 liter of clean water, equivalent to 1ml/5-7kg weight.
– For pigs, cattle and other livestock: 1ml/10-15kg weight
Prevention:
– Use 1/2 of the treatment dose
– Regular preventive use 2-3 times a month.
