COMPOSITION:

Ketoprofen …….. 5 000mg
Special Solvent …. 100ml

Description:
Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the arylpropionic acid group. Ketoprofen inhibits the biosynthesis of PGE2 and PGF2α.
Indications:
For alleviation of pain, colic, inflammation, pyrexia, oedema and endotoxemia.
Contraindications:
Severe cardiac, hepatic or renal impairment, dehydration, hypovolemia or hypotension, gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, blood dyscrasias, hypersensitivity to ketoprofen. Do not use in pregnant mares.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

‘For deep intramuscular.
– Horses: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.
– Donkeys: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.
– Cattle, sheep and goats: 1 ml per 15 kg okg body weight.
– Swine: 1 ml per 13 kg body weight.
Once daily for up to 5 days.
The body weight should be determined with accurancy.
Time to stop using the drug: 5 days.
