COMPOSITION:

Tylosin tartrate …………. 20 000 mg
Theophylin ………………… 500 mg
Dexamethasone
Special Solvent ……………… 100 ml

DESCRIPTION AND INDICATION:

MAX TYLAN with the main ingredient is Tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic, mainly active against gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasmas. It is also active against some gram-negative bacteria, spirochetes, some rickettsia and chlamydia. At recommended doses, tylosin acts bacteriostatically.
Bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, goats and swine, caused by microorganisms susceptible to tylosin, including swine dysentery, erysipelas, pneumonia, foul in the foot, and mastitis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For deep intramuscular (cattle, swine) or subcutaneous (sheep, goats) administration.
– Cattle, sheep, goats: 0.5 – 1 ml per 20 kg body weight once daily for up to 5 days
– Swine: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight twice daily for up to 3 days
– Dog: 0,5ml per 10kg body weight once daily for up to 3 – 5 days
The dose volume in cattle should not exceed 15 ml at any one injection site.
The dose volume in swine should not exceed 5 ml at any one injection site.
Contraindications:
Do not use for animals sensitive to the ingredients of the drug.
